She was predeceased by: her parents, Olaf Hagstrom and Barbara Hagstrom (Schneider); her son Richard Frederick; her siblings, Clarence, Lawrence, Edward, Grace, Donna and Dianna; and her parents-in-law, William and Louise Battest.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Battest; her children, Sally Battest, Steven Battest, Susan Neuberger (Doug), Sherry Zacher (Jamie), Scott Battest (Paula) and Stuart Battest; her sister Mavis Irwin (Virgil Melchior); and her siblings-in-law, Norman Battest and Delores Battest. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren.
