He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Nieman and Lois Nieman (Smith); his wife Marica L. Nieman; his daughter Debbie Nieman; his grandson Aaron Christman; and his brother Gail Nieman (Fluffy).
He is survived by: his former wife Marcia Lee Hagen; his daughters, Janette Bower (Dave) of Seward, AK and Corine Christman (Todd) of Berthold, ND; his grandchildren, Jodee Rahe (Jason Cox), J. T. Rahe (Alexis), Christopher Persinger (Taylor), Michelle Bower, Tammy Rice (Denali), LuAnn Button (Lowell), David Bower, Jr. (Brittany Hagendorf), Nathan Bower (Maranda), Samantha, Brandon, Noah and Alexis Christman; his great grandchildren, Erin Bower, Christine, Grace, Eli Rice, Steven, Carl Button, Eleanor Hagendorf, Julian Williamson, Gabriella Bower, Jocelyn, Sophie Bower, Khloee, Mason Cox, Jaydon, Hope, Levinah Rahe, Harper, Larkynn, Beckett Miner and Parker Persinger; and his siblings, Rick Nieman (Erna) of Samaria, MI and Phyllis Simmons of Samaria, MI. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
