He is survived by: his children, Steve, Sherry, Bill Jr., Kent, Michelle and Katie; his wife Ida Poitra of Belcourt; and his stepchildren, Glen Goulet (Lori), Shelly Goulet-LaVallie (Kyle Enno) and Dekotah Martin (Cynthia). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
