He is survived by: his wife Deanna DeMontigny of Belcourt; his adoptive sons, William DeMontigny of Grand Forks and Christopher DeMontigny of Virginia; his stepchildren, Jared Falcon (Suzanne) of Rolla, Matthew Falcon of Belcourt and Allison Desjarlais (Matthew) of Belcourt; and his brother Charles DeMontigny (Roxanne) of Washington. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
