She is survived by: her children, Mykel Poitra of Belcourt, Christopher Greene of Federal Dam, MN and Kaitlyn Poitra of Rolla; her grandchildren, Kaylauni, Kyrie, Emory, Maverik, Houston, Joe, Paris and Troy; and her siblings, Jeanette Poitra (Chad Desjarlais) of Belcourt, Patty Longie (Robert) of Belcourt, Jackie Gillis (Pete) of Dunseith, Freddy Poitra (Joann Fields) of Queen Creek, AZ and Caroline Poitra (Erick Malaterre) of Belcourt. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the St. Ann's Catholic Church (1115 Louis Riel Dr, Belcourt, ND 58316). A rosary was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
