He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert DeCoteau and Cecilia DeCoteau (LaFromboise); his granddaughter Justine DeCoteau; his siblings, Elmer DeCoteau, Jude DeCoteau, Linus DeCoteau, Larry DeCoteau, Stanley DeCoteau, Harvey DeCoteau, Cornelius DeCoteau, Loretta DeCoteau, Carol Laducer and Doris DeCoteau; and his siblings-in-law, Dewayne Teter, DuWayne Hurkes, Delores DeCoteau, Darlene Lavallie, Richard Lavallie, Ron Laducer, James White and Raelena Belgarde (Montriel).
He is survived by: his wife Donna DeCoteau (White); his children, Randall DeCoteau (Billie Jo) of Belcourt, Terrance DeCoteau (Kodi) of Belcourt and Dawn Aune (David) of Belcourt; his grandchildren, Tiffany Krodel (Kendall), Ryne Storsved (Bryce), Austin Steckler (Teashah) of Austin Anderson, RT, Teagan DeCoteau (Ashtyn), Dakota Aune (Hailey), Tori DeCoteau, Zech Demery and Destiny Mayer; his siblings, Rose Teter of Ogden, IA, Cindy Hurkes of Bismarck and Joey McLeod (Al) of Bismarck; and his siblings-in-law, Raymond Montriel (Lisa), Carrie Laducer of Belcourt, Debbie Schnackenberg, Dianne White of Jamestown, ND and Amy Norton (Hal) of New Hampshire. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
