She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward DeCoteau and Caroline DeCoteau (Brunelle); her children, Dale William Brien and Cindy Kay Colleen Brien; her siblings, Louis, Vincent, Gregory, Glenn, Troy DeCoteau, Carol Rose Grant, Marla DeCoteau and Gladys DeCoteau; her grandchildren, Zachery Parisien, Isacc LaVallie, Baby Blackwell, Jacenta Brien and Jesus Brien; and her grandparents, Louis, Mary Brunelle, Andrew and Mary DeCoteau.
She is survived by: her husband Dalbert Brien of Belcourt; her daughters, Pamela LaVallie (Jack) of Belcourt and Gail Parisien (Kelly) of Belcourt; her grandchildren, Edward LaVallie, Cherish LaVallie, Caz Brien, Seth Brien, Hannah Brien, Julius Brien, Zena Parisien (Austin), Zayne Parisien and Zavier Parisien; her great grandchildren, Ilea Trottier, Ian LaVallie, Emmylynn LaVallie, Zailyn Poitra and Zyer Poitra; her great great grandchild Taven Short; and her siblings, Robert DeCoteau (Andrea) of Belcourt, Steven DeCoteau of Belcourt, Linda Decoteau of Belcourt, Claudia DeLong of Belcourt, Wanda DeCoteau of St. John and Wallace DeCoteau (Roberta) of Belcourt. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
