She is survived by: her close friend Jeffery Charette of Belcourt; her children, Wanda Desjarlais of Belcourt, Tiffany Rist (Cory) of Minot, Rosalie Baker of St. John and Michael Jr. Baker (Nelsyn) of Belcourt; her grandchildren, Isaac Morin, Mischa Sheppard, Carter Baker, Della-Ann Sheppard, Suri Baker, Tayden Zapata, Michael Baker III and Maximus Cain; and her siblings, Willard Desjarlais Jr. of Belcourt, Debbie Duarte (Anthony) of Belcourt, Peggy Peltier (Robin) of Minot and Kathy Cain (Alden) of St. John. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
A rosary was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Ann's Catholic Church (1115 Louis Riel Dr, Belcourt, ND 58316). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
