He was predeceased by: his parents, Ambrose Champagne and Helen Champagne (Azure); his sister Delcie Van Capelle; and his son-in-law Kevin Davis. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Champagne (Trey) of Belcourt, Sheila Champagne (Matt) of Fargo, Brandi Davis of Belcourt and Brandon Champagne of Belcourt; his grandchildren, Kira, Damon, Hailey, Sadey, Dylan, Maddi, Kaymbree, Taetym, Lainey and Kovie; his great grandchildren, Kyrie, Brailey, Micah, Lillie, Brailynn, Zoey and Kapri; and his siblings, Ronnie Champagne (Adrianne) of Lawrence, KS and Viola LaFountain-Slater (Alfred) of Trenton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Benedict's Catholic Church (3821 BIA Rd 6, Belcourt, ND 58316). A rosary was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
