She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Jaste and Delima Jaste (Poitra); her siblings, Diane Phillips, Allan Jaste and Jerry Jaste; and her granddaughter Chantell Counts.
She is survived by: her daughter Rochelle Counts of Dunseith; her grandson Terrell Counts of Dunseith; her sister Rose Marie Parisien (James Sr.) of Belcourt; her brother-in-law Bill Phillips of Cisco, TX; her nephews, Jesse Parisien and Gene Phillips; and her niece Becky Lenoir. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
