He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Azure and Irene Azure (Keplin); his siblings, Josephine Chase and Freddie Azure; his brother-in-law Bernard Delorme; and his nieces, Shelly Chase, Gwen Azure and Celine Azure.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Azure of Belcourt; his children, John Azure (Denise) of Rolette, Jared Azure (Tenesha) of Rugby and Lela Boswell Babenhausen; and his siblings, Lambert Azure (Kateri) of Belcourt, James Azure (Lynette) of Rugby, Terry Azure (Sandy) of Belcourt and Arlene Jeannotte (Benny). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren.
