He is survived by: his daughters, Mandy Nadeau of Belcourt and Felicia Nadeau of Dunseith; his grandchildren, Chayden Nadeau, Alijah DeCoteau, Alden DeCoteau Jr. and Richard Greatwalker; and his siblings, Carol Blevins (Mike) of Bathgate, Bill LaFrombois (Shelly Gallow) of Devils Lake, Gene LaFrombois (Patricia Bruce) of Belcourt and Louis LaFrombois (Ellen) of Belcourt. He is also survived by his family members and many friends.
