He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Houle Sr. and Donna Bercier; his sons, Preston Demery and Christopher Houle; and his sister Anna Houle.
He is survived by: his close friend Connie Azure of Belcourt; his children, Clayton Houle of Belcourt, Kayla Houle of Belcourt and Krista Houle of New Town; and his siblings, Florene Houle of Bismarck, Clarence Houle Jr. of Devils Lake, Beverly Houle of Rolla and Robert Dempsey of Montana. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
