He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Sr. Reed and Beatrice Boyer (Johnson); his stepfather George Boyer; and his brothers, Harvey and Duane Reed.
He is survived by: his wife Cyrilla Reed of Belcourt; his children, Dawn Reed of Rugby and Cory Gourneau (Amy) of Belcourt; his brother Gerald Reed of Fargo; his grandchildren, Brittany Morin (John), William Hagman (Amy), Cory Gourneau (Candace), Gemini Reed and Noah Gourneau; and his great grandchildren, Dayton, Rourke, Emma, Molly, Liam, Ryver, Kace and Karsyn. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
