It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Curtis Dean Paul Desjarlais of Belcourt, North Dakota, who passed away on September 6, 2023, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Victoria Westlind (Nadeau); his brother Andrew Desjarlais Jr.; his grandparents, Alfred Desjarlais, Cecelia Azure, Ernest and Louise Nadeau; his nephews, Michael Desjarlais, Jeremy Longie and Bryan Desjarlais; and his brother-in-law Michael LaVallie Jr..
He is survived by: his father Andrew Desjarlais (Doris) of Williston; his daughters, Shanae Larkins of Waco, TX and Santana Desjarlais of Moorhead, MN; and his siblings, Gaylene Desjarlais of Belcourt, Jackie Longie of Dunseith, Norma Desjarlais of Minot, Alfred Desjarlais of Minot and Sara Desjarlais of Williston. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
