It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Demery of Belcourt, North Dakota, who passed away on November 23, 2023, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Judy Moore-LaFontaine; her sister Bonnie LaFontaine; her grandmothers, Edna LaFontaine and Marie Blue-Davis; and her niece Savanna Greywind.
She is survived by: her father Clarence LaFontaine; her husband Ferlyn Demery; her children, Renee Demery (Ryan) of Belcourt, Travis LaFromboise (Katie) of Belcourt, Christina Demery of Fargo, Martina Demery of Belcourt and Samantha Demery (Owen) of Dunseith; her grandchildren, Austin Grant Jr., Abel Grant, Azec Grant, Asher Delorme, Lilly Little Owl, Kalani Little Owl, Madison Parisien, Melanie Parisien, Drey Demery, Trey Demery and Braylee Demery; her siblings, Norberta Greywind (Joe) of Oberon, ND, Ann Mendel (Deneen) of Newbegn, IN, Jason LaFontaine (Marion) of Belcourt, Kevin LaFontaine (Sarah) of Fargo, Loren LaFontaine (Michelle) of Belcourt, Bryan LaFontaine of Grand Forks and Myron LaFontaine of Montana; her daughter Christna; and also Quinten Demery of Dunseith. She is also survived by her family and friends.
