He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Zimdars and Mary Zimdars (Bush); his daughter Karla; and his son-in-law Paul Esterby. He is survived by: his wife Yvette Stafne; his children, Kevin (Conda), Kim Stockert (Kevin), Kelly Esterby, Kathy Church (Bob) and Kerri Zimdars; his sister Dorothy Meidinger; his grandchildren, Kyla, Kristi, Travis, Austin, Christian, Jillian, Shannon, Clayton, Kea and Madison; and his great grandchildren, Camdyn, Brielle and Huxley. He is also survived by his friends' farms, rescuing animals.

Memorials may be made to Home on the Range or charity of choice.
