With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Kay Michels of Beach, North Dakota, born in New Hradec, North Dakota, who passed away on December 14, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Ficek and Philomina Ficek (Faiman); her husband Donald Hubert Michels; and her siblings, Dorothy, Martha, Georgia, Josie, Wilfred, Richard and Alfred.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Lauf (Don) of Wibaux, Donnell Michels (Jeanne) of Wibaux, Diane Krogstad (Osman) of Fredericksburg, Virginia and DeLayne Shanahan (Kelly) of Shakopee, Minnesota; her grandchildren, Dion Lauf (Amber), Dana Kingsley (Brian), Brandon Michels (Jaime), Desiree Schillo (Peder), Brock, Laci Krogstad and Kellen Shanahan; and her great grandchildren, Lanie, Cambrie Lauf, Kaleb, Kaylee Kingsley, Stella, Aspen Michels, Peyton, Sadie and Barrett Schillo.
