He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph and Christina Baumann (Dockter); his wife Darlene Kautz; his brothers, Lavorn and Wilbert; his daughter-in-law Alice; his siblings-in-law, Leon Boschee, Lloyd Erlenbusch, Ervin Marzolf, Florence Baumann and Florence Marzolf; and his niece Marsha Erlenbusch.
He is survived by: his children, Allen Baumann (Deb Jenner) of Ashley, Charlotte Swenson (Jerry) of Minot, ND and Debra Paradis (Emile) of Marietta, GA; his grandchildren, Tina Nasers (Trent) of Fargo, ND, Todd Baumann (Anne) of Lismore, MN, Janet Leonardson (Eric) of Lisbon, WI, Joleen Halstrom (Matt) of Rushmore, MN, Erick Swenson (Michelle) of San Ramon, CA, Elizabeth Holen (Steve) of Watford City, ND, John Hoffman (Nikki) of Bismarck, ND, Jessica Hager (Chad) of Minneapolis, MN and Melissa McCabe (Garett) of Bismarck, ND; his sister Mabel Boschee of Wishek; and his sister-in-law Mavis Erlenbusch of Ashley. He is also survived by 28 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren.
