With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eugene A. Wahl of Ashley, North Dakota, who passed away on July 26, 2023 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eugene A. Wahl to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his wife Vivian Woehl; his parents, Emma Wahl, (Nill) and Frederich Wahl, Jr.; and his son Fredrick. He is survived by: his great grandchildren, Elizabeth of Wahpeton, ND., Nickole of Wahpeton, ND. and Wyatt Cherry of Wahpeton, ND.; his children, Greta Diede of Ashley and Michael Wahl of Penrose, CO; and his brother Elmer Wahl of Anoka, MN. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Eugene will be remembered for his generosity of spirit as he made donations to many worthwhile causes, including the Ashley School and the McIntosh Historical Society.
