He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Haupt and Emma Haupt (Kraemer); his brother Roger; and his siblings-in-law, Jean and Roman Arnold.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Bendewald; his children, Kirby Haupt of Venturia and Holly Armstrong (Jim) of Hoyt Lakes, MN; his grandchildren, Darian Harris of Eveleth, MN, Dawson Harris (Hailey) of Becker, MN, Kelsi Haupt of Ashley and Connor Haupt of Venturia; his great grandchildren, Abram, Ayson Dennis and Carter; and his sister Carol Arnold of Ashley.
