He is survived by: his wife Julie Nelson; his children, Shawn Cahoon (Shellie Wambach), Minn, Amy Cahoon of Casselton, ND, Elissa Berndt (Barry) of Erie, ND, Erica Cahoon of Tower City, ND, Darren Cahoon of Mapleton, ND, Heather Heick of Gwinner, ND, Tiffanie Honeyman (Kevin) of Fargo, ND, Stephanie Schmidt, Duluth, Stacy Riedel (Colter), Aitkin, Natalie Thompson (Jesse) and Barnesville; his grandchildren, Nathan, Emily, Kaitlyn, Jaden, Lilly and Wyatt; his children, James, Austin, Rayna, Dylan, Taylor, Zach, Hunter, Hailey, Layne, Jordan, Drue, Isabelle, Mikhail, Brooklyn, Keggan, Abrahm, Jackson, Bowen, Kobi, Kamryn, Emma and Kai; his great grandchildren, Olivia and Genesis; and his siblings, Peggy McClure, Lochbuie, Colo, Irene Richter (Marvin) of Hazen, ND and Dennis Cahoon (Sue) of Hazen, ND. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Boulger Funeral Home (123 10th St S, Fargo, ND 58103). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
