He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Moen and Cornelia Moen (Carr); and his brothers, Merland and Ted. He is survived by: his wife Betty Rasmussen; his children, Deborah Slais (David) of Epping, ND and Lance (Doris) of Fargo; his grandchildren, Jessica Slais of Nashville, TN, Ben Moen (Sarah) of Fargo and Brittany Haugo (Ryan) of West Fargo; and his great grandchildren, Carson Haugo and Piper Haugo.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to First Lutheran Church in Hunter and Hospice of the Red River Valley in Fargo.
