He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Pedersen and Alice Pedersen (McCowan); and his sisters-in-law, Rosemary Pedersen and Rhonda Pedersen. He is survived by: his wife Adell Mjelstad of Arnegard; his sons, Kevin Mjelstad (Susan) of Fargo, ND and Kent Pedersen (Anita); his grandsons, Grant (Taylor), Clark, Brock Mjelstad of Fargo, Jordyn and Luke Pedersen; his great grandchild Ellen Mjelstad; and his brothers, Robert Pedersen (Jan) of Billings, MT, Bill Pedersen of Gillette, WY and Marlan Pedersen (Nancy) of Gillette, WY. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Memorial Contribution. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in Ron's name to the Arnegard LIONS Club and the Alexander Museum.
