With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leslie Berdal (Aneta, North Dakota), who passed away on November 20, 2020 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Erick Berdal and Dorothy Berdal (Sypolt); his sisters, Mary Lynne and Charlotte Berdal; his sister-in-law Joan Berdal; and his uncles, Ingvald Berdal and Frederick Berdal.

He is survived by: his wife Kristi Ophaug; his daughters, Erin Hetland (Dan) and Stacy Luehring (Kalyn); his granddaughters, Payton, Sophie, Hazel Hetland, Mya and Edyn Luehring; his brothers, Dan "Tucker" Berdal (Vicki Jo Flick) and James Berdal; his brother-in-law Gladwin Lynne; and his uncle Leonard Berdal (Marlys).

“We are so sorry to hear of Les' passing. He was always so welcoming to us and always had time to say hello and talk. The last time we saw him he talked of how much he enjoyed getting on the floor and playing with the grandkids. He will be missed! Our condolences, Jacki and Mark Sorset, Aneta”
