He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Nels Petersen and Dorothy Petersen (Jepson); his children, Teresa Petersen of Park River, ND, Jim Petersen (Elmira) of Wentworth, SD and Darel Petersen (Dawn) of Fordville, ND; his siblings, Roger (Betty), Gladys Petersen of Fargo, ND, Grace Priewe of Wyndmere, ND and Anna Marie Homola of Belle Fourche, SD.; and his former wife Sheila Wiltse. He was also cherished by 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.
Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
