He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Gehrke and Sofie Gehrke (Hillesland); his brother Earl Gehrke; and his brother-in-law Norman Aslakson. He is survived by: his spouse Bonnita Bajula; his children, Toni Jacobson (Ron) of Mayville, ND, Noel Gehrke (Jan) of Kloten, ND and Jen Conmy (Phil) of Fountain Hills, AZ; his grandchildren, Jasper Jacobson (Billie), Bryce Jacobson (Lora), Vanessa Wallace, Austin, Logan Gehrke, Amber Jones (Keith) and Dustin Noyes; his great grandchildren, Spencer, Reed, Oliver Jacobson, Zoe, Sophie, Noah Jacobson, Kaden, Reagan Wallace, Lane, Halle Jones and Laila Allen; his siblings, Charles Gehrke (Helen), Irene Halverson (David) and Juliet Aslakson; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Gehrke.
