We are sad to announce that on February 7, 2020, at the age of 88, Betty J. Hillesland (Aneta, North Dakota) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Nygaard and Norma Nygaard; and her husband Elmer Hillesland. She is survived by: her children, David Hillesland (Lisa), Don Hillesland (Lori) and Jane Merrill (Dan); her grandchildren, Ryan, Matthew, Kari and Ben; and her siblings, Doris Vinger and Nate Nygaard.
The family prefers memorials to the Alzheimer's Association. *Thanks to the amazing staff at Maple View Memory Care in Grand Forks and Hatton Prairie Village in Hatton, ND, who took such good care of our Mother.
