Joann Louise Wagner Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joann Louise Wagner of Anamoose, North Dakota, who passed away on January 31, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ora Anderson and Mary Anderson (Altringer); her husband Alvin Francis Wagner; her son Michael Wagner; her son-in-law Paul VanNess; and her siblings, Ken Anderson and Dorothy Connelly.
She is survived by: her children, Francis Wagner (Anne), Susan Larson (Dennis), Sharon VanNess-Williams (Kevin) and Richard Wagner; her grandchildren, Michael (Abby), Shannon (Alan), Alex (Kaitlynn), Thomas (Catelyn), Allen, Brian, Cody (Andrea) and John; and her brother Donald Anderson (Marti). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (605 1st St W, Anamoose, ND 58710). A rosary was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
