It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Strand of Amenia, North Dakota, born in Mayville, North Dakota, who passed away on May 29, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Strand and Judith Strand (Thuen); his brother Harlan; his great-nephew Brennen; and his pets, Buster and Sadie.
He is survived by: his significant other Claudia Gebeke; his siblings, David Strand (Ardell) of Amenia, Duane Strand (Sandy) of Fargo, John Strand (Christy) of Fargo, Paul Strand (Francie) of Casselton, Steven Strand (Dawn) of Casselton and Eileen Strand of West Fargo; and his nieces and nephews, Jeff, Mark, Gary, Richard (Darci), Doug (Colleen), Matt, Bryan, Angie (Chuck Lehmann), Kerry (Michelle), Casey (Stephanie), Robert, Melanie, Craig, Heather, Amy King, Eric King (Ashley) and Kara Ihry (Mikal). He is also survived by fifteen great-nieces and nephews.
