With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucille Schuman in Amenia, North Dakota, born in Comstock, Minnesota, who passed away on December 19, 2020 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lucille Schuman to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her mother Florence Bernhardson (Thompson); her husband Glenn Schuman of Minnewaukan, ND; her parent E. A. Bernhardson; her siblings, Drell (Adeline), Lois and Wally Bernhardson; and her brothers-in-law, Marvin Leiseth and Allan Kassenborg.
She is survived by: her siblings, Betty Leiseth, Helen Kassenborg, Eddie (Barbara) of Moorhead, MN, Charles (Helen) and Shelly; her sister-in-law Marilyn of Redwood Falls, MN; her children, Cheryl Borg-Breen (Edward) of Franklin, TN, Luan Schuman, James Schuman (Jonathan Webster) and Marinell Holst (Larry); her grandchildren, Jonathan Borg-Breen (Caryn), Kirstin, Amanda Grant, Kathryn Kuisle (Kevin) and Anne Collins (Adam); and her great grandchildren, Hannah, Emma, Avery, Atley, Samantha, Kathryn and Hayley. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a resident of Kinder Care, whose loving staff became her family during the isolation of COVID, with the additional support of Hospice of the Red River Valley.
