He was predeceased by: his parents, William Howard and Mary Howard; his grandparents, William, Mary Howard, Nevin and Mini Bonawitz; his stepson Douglas Lee Bealer; his brother John Alvin Howard; and the mother of his children Lillian Frye Howard.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Howard; his children, Deborah Svitilla (John), William Howard (Audrey) and Glenn Howard (Kim); his stepchildren, Timothy Bealer (Veronica) and Kayellen Grey (Herman); and his brothers, Charles and Robert Howard. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren.
