He was predeceased by: his mother Gladys Huntsinger Hughey; his wife Irene Pierson Hughey; and his siblings, Richard (Larry) and Patricia Hughey. He is survived by: his daughter Sonya Hughey; his grandsons, Jonathan Martin (Josie) and Jason Smith; and his sister Mary Ann Hughey Demarest. He is also survived by one step-daughter; four great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren.
