He is survived by: his wife Dianne Smith (Faught); his children, Blake Smith and Audra; his son-in-law Steven Durham; his grandchildren, Joseph Schultz, Liam, Emerson Smith, Zooey and Madison Durham; his brother Scott; and his sister-in-law Tracye Smith.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Groce Funeral Home (72 Long Shoals Rd, Arden, NC 28704).
