He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Newil" and Ula Mae Hill; his siblings, James, Charles Hill and Sibyl Staton; and his grandson Tony Case.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Brock Hill; his children, Tommy Redmond (Lori), Dwayne Hill (Jill) and Wendy Ramey (Bobby); and his grandchildren, Samantha Redmond, Blythe Hill, Nick Redmond, Hannah Hill, Blake Ramey, Zarah Ramey, Brock Ramey and Easton Ramey. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
