He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hamilton Wilson and Hattie Wallace Wilson; his wife Virginia Wilson; his son James Ray "Butch" Wilson; and his siblings, Pearl Martin and Earl Wilson.
He is survived by: his granddaughters, Regina Graham (David) of Zionville, Janna Lyons (Brent) of Todd and Emily Sheffield (Adam) of Banner Elk; his great grandchildren, Evan, Abby, Alyssa Graham, Eli Lyons, Rayley, Carson Moretz, Lucy and Rory Sheffield; and his sisters, Faye Potter and Georgia Pardue (Edgar) of Zionville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
