We bid farewell to Carolyn Jean Lawrence (Zionville, North Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 27, 2024 at the age of 80. Carolyn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Bunton and Juanita Gragg Bunton; her husband Charles Edward Lawrence; and her son Mark Lawrence. She is survived by: her son Ricky Lawrence of Zionville; her grandsons, Stacy Lawrence of West Jefferson and Christopher Betz of Raleigh; her daughter-in-law Suzanne Lawrence of Zionville; her brothers, George Bunton (Jo) of Valle Crucis and Gary Bunton of Zionville; her granddaughters, Samara Betz of Zionville and Katie (Jeff Michal) of England; and her caregiver Beverly Harmon.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church (1564 Silverstone Rd, Zionville, NC 28698). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
