He is survived by: his wife Virginia Canter Dancy of Zionville; his children, Crystal Mahala (Andy) of Zionville, Linda Dancy of Lenoir and Jerry Dancy of Zionville; and his grandchildren, Cheyenne Dancy, David Downs, Christina Downs, Jessica Mahala and Luke Mahala. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
