It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bertha Sanders Wilson of Zionville, North Carolina, who passed away on June 22, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sanders and Della Wilson Sanders; her husband Burl Lee Wilson; her son Sonny Wilson; her grandchildren, Duane Wilson and Jamie Hicks; and her daughter-in-law Angela Wilson.
She is survived by: her children, Tommy Wilson (Carolyn) of Zionville, Gail Dotson (Tommy) of Boone and Darlene Hicks (Jimmy) of Vilas; her grandchildren, Preacher Derick Wilson (Holli) of Zionville, Preacher T. J. Wilson (Poppy) of Zionville, Bradley Hicks (Shannon) of Pinehurst, Debbie Warren (John) of Vilas, Angie Norris, Cindy Sullivan (Craig) of Zionville, Katrina Hicks (Mike) of Boone and Kendra Hicks of Zionville; and her daughter-in-law Hilda Thomas Wilson of Zionville. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
