He is survived by: his children, Ramona Connor (Alan) of Raleigh, John Trinks (Jessica) of Durham and Jasmine Trinks-Reese (Kevin) of Chapel Hill; his grandchildren, Ryan Connor, Sierra Connor, Bastain Trinks and Eowyn Trinks; and his brother Jerry Trinks of Marion, NC..
