She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Godfrey Powers and Maude Frances Tanner Powers; her husband Balbus Fedley Lewis; her son Robert Powers Lewis; and her son-in-law Wesley Adams.

She is survived by: her children, C. Blake Lewis (Terry) of Zebulon and Olivia Grace Lewis Adams of Knightdale; and her grandchildren, Nancy Grace Lewis Winborne (Brodie), Brittany Janice Adams, John Carlton Lewis (Anna), Jill Ann Adams Siler (Jason) and Emma Carol Lewis Moore (Joe Forrest). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Gethsemane Memorial Gardens (809 W Gannon Ave, Zebulon, NC 27597).
