He was predeceased by: his parents, Denimal Forrest and Annie Crama Pearce Privette; his son Joey Privette; and his sister Louise Pinion. He is survived by: his wife Emily Rose Privette; his children, Kennon Privette (Colleen), Janine Wood (Glenn) and Amenda Collier; his grandchildren, Lauren Wood (Jason), Landis Quinn (Garrett), Adam Privette, Carolyn Privette, Kristen Privette, Brittany Sadler (John-Caleb), Brandi Hart (Daniel) and Bradley Wood; and his great grandchildren, Payton Wood, Paige Wood, Caleb Sadler, Adalynn Sadler, Riley Sadler, Liam Hart and Ava Hart.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Pearces Baptist Church.
