She was predeceased by: her parents, Bryant Pippin and Ruth Medlin Pippin; her husband Jesse Taylor; and her siblings, Mack Pippin, Tommy Pippin, Tina Hignutt, Ruth Ray and Gertrude Frazier.
She is survived by: her children, Ricky "Rick" Taylor and Janet "Jan" Taylor; and her brother Sam Pippin. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and beloved in-laws.
