Though Hazel Lee Foster may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Hazel Lee Foster touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathaniel Foster and Hazel Swinson Foster; her husband Max Walter Murray; her siblings, Frank Foster, Nathaniel "Buddy" Foster and Hilda Carney; and her sister-in-law Nesta Faye Foster.
She is survived by: her siblings, Clarence Foster, Ida F. Hammett (Gene), Kathy Smith (Johnny) and Shelby Foster. She is also survived by 18 nieces and nephews, and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory (211 W 3rd St, Wendell, NC 27591). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
