She is survived by: her daughter Renee Yancy Carpenter; her son-in-law Eric Carpenter of Raleigh; her siblings, Louis Matos of Belleview Florida, Angelo Matos of Tucson Arizona, Emilio Matos and Margaret Sanchez; her grandchildren, Paris Anna Carpenter and Melik Richard Carpenter of Raleigh; and her nieces and nephews, Cathy, Anita, Georgina, Tara, Alexandra, Jennifer, Gina, Ferando, Ramon (Muncho) and Louis Jr..
