He was predeceased by: his parents, Cabel Weston Reams and Mattie Wilson Reams; and his siblings, Kitty Claiborne, Mary R Williamson, Russel Reams, Calvin Reams and Martin L. Reams.
He is survived by: his wife Hurley Crowder Reams; his daughter Beverly Wynette Reams; his sisters, Edith R. Branch and Ada R. Matthews; and his close friend Rodney Dickerson.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Dexter Baptist Church (4549 Chewning Rd, Oxford, NC 27565). A burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at the same location.
