It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maurice Dupree Walton of Youngsville, North Carolina, who passed away on January 9, 2025, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Talmadge Winston Walton, Sr. and Emma Penny Dupree Walton. He is survived by: his siblings, Patricia Walton Duke (John) of Zebulon, Talmadge W. Walton, Jr. (Betty Jo) of Youngsville, Penny Walton Walker (Charlie) of Youngsville and J. Marco Walton (Brenda) of Raleigh; his former wife Angela D. Walton of Raleigh; and his friends, Bruce Sluter and Kent Williams. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Montlawn Memorial Park (2911 S Wilmington St, Raleigh, NC 27603).
