With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Susan Baker (Youngsville, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 23, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmie Baker and Chloe Mae Pearce; and her son Brian Thomas Peardon. She is survived by: her children, Larry Penny and Erica Lumley (Taylor); her grandchildren, Lynzie Penny, Kacey Peardon, Kat Peardon, Zach Peardon, Xavier Peardon, Mackenzie Peardon, Hunter Peardon and Alex Peardon; and her brothers, Graham Baker (Donna) and Russell Baker.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory (211 W 3rd St, Wendell, NC 27591). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Bethlehem Baptist Church (1581 Bethlehem Church Rd, Youngsville, NC 27596). A burial was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 4:00 PM.
