She was predeceased by: her husband Calvin E. Mitchell Jr.; and her sister Alma Blackley. She is survived by: her sons, Calvin E. Mitchell III (Grace Mitchell) and Dean Mitchell; her grandchildren, Calvin E. Mitchell IV (Lindsay Mitchell), Michael D. Mitchell II, Daniel Kim (Leanne Kim) and Rebekah Lee (Philip Lee); and her sister Linda Piaski (John Piaski). She is also survived by great-grandchildren and a loving extended family.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Youngsville Town Cemetery (482 S College St, Youngsville, NC 27596).
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to Flat Rock Baptist Church in honor of her lifelong devotion to faith and family.
