With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Clem Calvin Mitchell Jr. of Youngsville, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eileen Gracie and Clem Mitchell Sr.; his wife Lois Mitchell; and his son Danny Mitchell. He is survived by: his son Jeremy Mitchell (Dede); his daughter-in-law Cheryl Mitchell; his brother Ted Mitchell; and his grandchildren, Amber Mitchell, Jordan Mitchell, Parker Bridgforth (Adam), Winston Mitchell (Kelsie), Nick Williams (Kelly) and Kyle Crump (Allie). He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
The lying in state was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bright Funeral Home (405 S Main St, Wake Forest, NC 27587). A graveside service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mitchell Family Cemetery (660 Mitchell Store Rd, Youngsville, NC 27596).
